Tara started her career in South Africa at the public broadcaster and European TV news stations. She took the plunge, establishing Tin Rage Productions and her small team produced an award-winning literary magazine series. Tara set up Tin Rage in New York City and since then, has provided production services to clients including the BBC, Reuters, Al Jazeera America and Hearst. In 2024 Tara won two Telly Awards for stories produced for “Matter of Fact with Soledad O’Brien”.
